Burnett was founded in Malaysia in 1964. Today,
Leo Burnett Malaysia has a staff of 170 and
a portfolio of clients such as PETRONAS, Malaysia
Airlines, MASKargo, Tenaga Nasional, McDonald’s,
Procter & Gamble, Kellogg’s, Bumiputera
Commerce Bank, YTL Corporation, Dutch Lady,
Banda Raya Development Bhd (BRDB) TV3, King’s
Confectionery, Philip Morris Malaysia (Phillip
Morris).
Leo Burnett has shown creative leadership through
numerous wins at the Kancil Awards throughout
the years. In 2004, the Malaysian Creative Circle
(MC2) awarded Leo Burnett the prestigious “Agency
of the Year” award.
The first thing you’ll notice about our
business card is that it’s very Malaysian
for an agency that’s part of the world’s
4th largest communications network. Surprising,
but it stems from Leo Burnett’s belief
that the work we do must originate from a rich
understanding of local culture and insights.
And at the same time, perform to global standards,
which is best summed up by a quote by Leo Burnett
