campaign is just one example of how we
have turned around the image of Malaysia
Airlines in the minds of the target.
Background
Malaysia Airlines launched a new non-stop
flight from London to Langkawi and Penang.
Clearly, Malaysia Airlines was “Going
beyond expectations” again by delivering
this new service and that’s exactly
what we wanted people in the UK to take
out from our communications.
What
we did
Before you can expect travelers to book
a seat on your new destination, you have
to promote the destination itself…
and do it in an unusual way to make sure
the campaign supports the total Malaysia
Airlines brand in “Going beyond
expectations”.
The results
Both Langkawi and Penang routes contributed
13% increase in positive yield for the
UK sector and 7 out of 10 travelers surveyed
said the campaign made them more interested
in flying Malaysia Airlines on the whole. |
